T.I. Competes with Himself on New Record
Billboard reports that Atlanta rapper T.I. has already completed work on a new album titled T.I. vs. T.I.P., due July 3rd on the Grand Hustle division of Atlantic Records. T.I. has revealed that the T.I.P. referenced in the title is actually his alter ego. "It's basically a battle within myself," T.I. told Billboard. "There's not nobody out there doing what I do as well as I do it, so I see myself as worthy competition for myself."The upcoming record features cameos by Justin Timberlake (T.I. guested on Timberlake's #1 hit "My Love"), Eminem, R. Kelly, Akon, and Lil' Wayne, plus production work by Scott Storch, Timbaland, and Wyclef Jean.
