Happy Mondays to Release New Record

What better time to announce a new Happy Mondays record than on a Monday? The Manchester old-rave band has just completed a deal with Sanctuary Records for the release of a full album of all-new material later in the year. Howie B and Quincy Jones' grandson Sonny Levine with produce the record. The band will also perform at the Coachella festival.

In other Manchester-related rave news, two members of the Stone Roses will perform together at a Versus Cancer benefit for the first time in years on March 30th. Singer Ian Brown and bassist Mani will play a live finale together, although guitarist John Squire will not be in attendance.
