Michael Jackson Commissions Robot Version of Himself
And the eccentricities keep on coming. Michael Jackson reportedly is in discussions with a Nevada designer to create a 50-foot robot version of himself for placement in Las Vegas and for use in his alleged comeback concert spectacular.According to the robot's designer, Andre Van Pier, the towering monstrosity is being outfitted to shoot harmless laser beams. "It would be in the desert sands," said Van Pier, who is not an engineer but rather a clothing designer. "Laser beams would shoot out of it, so it would be the first thing people flying in would see." Just what Las Vegas needs: more lasers.
