Lou Reed to Launch New York Venue
A live performance by New York icon Lou Reed will launch the opening of the Big Apple's newest music venue, the Highline Ballroom. Reed is scheduled to perform the 700-person venue on April 30th. Other artists slated to perform at the new venue include moe., Amy Winehouse, and the Secret Machines, making their first appearance as a duo since guitarist Benjamin Curtis' departure.—The ARTISTdirect Staff
