Bjork, Beastie Boys, Modest Mouse Among Electric Picnic Headliners

Diligent festival-hoppers have to make travel arrangements for Ireland this summer, as the fourth annual Electric Picnic boasts an impressive lineup of well-established artists, including Bjork, Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth, Iggy and the Stooges, and Modest Mouse.

Other acts on board include LCD Soundsystem, Jarvis Cocker, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream, and the Good, the Bad, and the Queen.

Electric Picnic will be held in Stradbelly August 31st through September 2nd at an intimate venue (festival-wise), with a capacity of 32,500. Tickets went on sale April 3rd.

In addition to the impressive lineup of music, Electric Picnic offers an array of arts and crafts, a farmers market and—you won't see this at Coachella—a wedding chapel and a political debate tent.
