Ozzy Osbourne Drops "Black Rain" on May 22
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Ozzfest kingpin, and reality TV star Ozzy Osbourne will release his first new studio album in six years on May 22nd. Titled Black Rain, the album features a number of songs about Ozzy's unease with current events, such as "Thank God for the Almighty Dollar" and "Civilize the Universe." Samples of the album are currently available on the singer's website."I just thought there's so much f**king bad news, the only way I can release it is to put it in a song," Osbourne explained. Black Rain finds Ozzy backed by familiar company, including faithful guitarist Zakk Wylde. The band will embark on a world tour prior to headlining Ozzfest this summer. —The ARTISTdirect Staff
