It's Bring Your Influence to Work Week!

The Black Keys to Return With Ike Turner and Danger Mouse

The vintage garage rock duo that isn't the White Stripes is already back at work, only a year after their last release Magic Potion. Akron, Ohio's the Black Keys have announced that they will team up with controversial blues icon Ike Turner for an as yet untitled record. The collaboration, which sounds interesting enough as it is, will also boast production work by Gnarls Barkley's Danger Mouse.

"We're writing the songs," said Patrick Carney, the drumming half of the duo. "Dan is going to write lyrics, and then Ike and Danger Mouse and Dan will go through lyrics together. We will bring a structured song to them, and then Danger Mouse is going to produce it and Ike is going to sing on it and also play guitar and organ and piano."
