Make a Modest Mouse Video
Who would have thought that Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert would establish the new music video trend? First, the Decemberists borrowed the idea from The Colbert Report to issue a music video green screen challenge, asking fans to fill in the background to its song "O Valencia"; now Modest Mouse is doing the same.The chart-topping rockers have joined mtvU in asking fans to create the video for "We've Got Everything," the second single off of We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. The details are over at the mtvU website, but hurry—the contest ends on May 9th.
