Cake Releases Rarities Comp, Tours

You can have your Cake and listen to its rarities too. California's persevering quirk-rock band is releasing the appropriately titled B-Sides and Rarities on Upbeat Records (no release date set). The compilation features a cover of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" and Barry White's "Never, Never Gonna Give You Up," plus other covers and originals. The band will also embark on a limited tour in anticipation of their sixth studio album, due out in the beginning of 2008.
