If you thought Alanis was funny... you ain't seen nothin' yet
Peaches Joins in the "My Humps" Parody Game
A couple of weeks ago, we shared with you the hilarity of Alanis Morissette's surprisingly hysterical send-up of the Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps." Well, move over, Alanis, because there's a new parodist in town, and her last album was called Impeach My Bush, so you know this is about to get interesting.Yep, electro-rock provocateur Peaches has surfaced on YouTube with her own version of the Peas' ridiculous hit song. Peaches ups the ante by copping Alanis' sad, piano-ballad arrangement, but adding her own (literally) scatological lyrics and renaming the song "My Dumps." Warning: not for the easily grossed out or weak of stomach.
What's next? Maybe a Tori Amos cover of Fergie's "London Bridge"? A tearful, harp-laden rendition of Kelis' "Milkshake" from Joanna Newsom? We can only hope.
