Animal Collective Announces Spring Tour

Eccentric folk-rockers Animal Collective are hitting the road this spring for a brief North American tour to promote their recent People EP, and perhaps to try out a few songs from a forthcoming full-length, slated for a September 2007 release on Domino Records.

Although the Baltimore-based quartet has not released a studio album since 2005's Feels, it's already been a busy year for the band. In addition to the EP and forthcoming album, Animal Collective members Noah Lennox, a.k.a. Panda Bear, and David Porter, a.k.a. Avey Tare, have both released critically acclaimed solo albums on their own Paw Tracks label.
