Travis Will Post Hundreds of Songs on MySpace
Before the Fray, Keane, and Coldplay, British band Travis led the earnest rock movement. And with The Boy With No Name due out May 7th, the band hopes to return to the forefront of soundtracking primetime TV dramas. But along with the songs available on the forthcoming album, Travis is also promising to make "hundreds" of additional songs available on their MySpace page."We've released 130 songs in A-sides, B-sides and album tracks since we started out," singer Fran Healy said. "Now there's finally a place where we can put up four brand new tracks a week that people haven't heard before. We've been doing that for 12 weeks and we've still got hundreds of songs to put up. We might have to slow it down a bit, but we can pretty much go on indefinitely!"
The Boy With No Name was produced by Nigel Godrich, who has also worked with Beck and Radiohead.
