The White Stripes Announce Tour Dates

The White Stripes have announced Canadian and U.S. tour dates to promote the upcoming June 19th release of their new album, Icky Thump. Meg and Jack White will begin at the Bonnaroo Festival on June 17th and end in Southhaven, Mississippi a month-and-a-half later on July 31st. Only 10 of the tour's 28 dates are in the U.S., and none are on the West Coast, although that could change with a later announcement. The album's first single, "Icky Thump," is available today on iTunes.
