Busta Rhymes Arrested For DUI
Despite Simmons and Sharpton's recent efforts to clean up hip-hop's image, rappers are frequently getting themselves into trouble. This time, Busta Rhymes was arrested last night on charges of driving while intoxicated. At 12:40 am, police officers initially stopped the rapper for overly tinted windows but according to Sgt. Mike Wysokowski, Busta's breath smelled like alcohol, presumably expensive alcohol. Rhymes was then taken into custody with an arraignment scheduled Thursday.This is not the first time Rhymes has been involved with the police. In fact, the hip-hop icon, real name Trevor Smith, is also scheduled to go to trial on Tuesday for two assault charges.
