CocoRosie Arrested, Cancel Shows
CocoRosie, the eccentric freak-folk duo, has been arrested for an as-of-yet unknown crime, forcing them to cancel a string of North American tour dates. The band apologized publicly on their MySpace page but could not divulge the cause or charges for the arrest.Sisters Sierra and Bianca Casidy wrote:

we are so sorry to announce that we cannot play the rest of the us tour dates
the band got arrested, thats all i can say
we love you all
we are playing a free show in New York on may 19th
please come if you can
we are crying
say a prayer for our band
love
