    Feist Performs on a Bus

Who says rock stars don't use public transit... for publicity?

    Feist Performs on a Bus

Feist, the Broken Social Scene singer turned breakout indie solo chanteuse, recently made an appearance on ABC's late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel. The Los Angeles based production has hosted a slew of mini-concerts on its outdoor stage by such cred-slinging bands as Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club—and even camera-shy Morrissey. Now, Leslie Feist and company can be added to the esteemed list.

But Feist has something all the others don't. While most performances take place either in the studio or in the lot's outdoor stage, this time Jimmy offered his musical talent something a little different: a moving bus. The band happily agreed to get on board, and played "I Feel It All" live... on a bus. Check out the performance below:

Whether this was a play by the city of Los Angeles to have Feist fans use public transit remains to be seen, but Feist doesn't need any help in gathering fans. Her sophomore album, The Reminder, sold over 31,000 albums in its first week (released May 1), and scored a number 7 slot on the Alternative album chart.
