Peanut Butter Wolf Does Seven Styles in Seven Nights

Los Angeles-based DJ Peanut Butter Wolf has a bigger vinyl collection than most record stores, so when he began organizing all those records by genre during a recent move, it gave him an idea.
"It occurred to me that LA is that rare city where as a DJ, you could do a whole week-long tour in a 10-mile radius, where all kinds of people could appreciate all styles of music," explained the founder of indie hip-hop label Stones Throw Records. So next month, Wolf will be hitting the road—so to speak—on a seven-night, seven-club tour of his home city, playing a different style of music every night of the week. Expect some seriously obscure and mind-blowing cuts from one of the best selectors in the business.
