White Stripes Add Tour Dates

The White Stripes are continuing their mission to spread their rock gospel to every city that can handle them, having added a new leg of September U.S. dates to their Icky Thump itinerary. Not only will they hit concert-deluged cities like Chicago, Austin and Los Angeles, but they’ll be thumping in such out-of-the-way destinations as Jackson Hole, Rapid City and Anchorage—all in all, eight cities where Jack and Meg have never set foot before.

In the meantime, The White Stripes will play London on June 15 as part of the O2 Wireless Fest, and will be spending the first part of the summer touring across Canada.

New tour dates:

Sept. 4-5: Chicago (Aragon Ballroom)
Sept. 6: Lincoln, Neb. (Pershing Auditorium)
Sept. 7: Fargo, N.D. (Civic Auditorium)
Sept. 8: Rapid City, S.D. (Rushmore Plaza)
Sept. 10: Jackson Hole, Wyo. (Snowking Center)
Sept. 11: Boise, Idaho (Idaho Center Theatre)
Sept. 12: Sat Lake City (E Center)
Sept. 13: Albuquerque, N.M. (Kiva Auditorium)
Sept. 15-16: Austin, Texas (Austin City Limits)
Sept. 19: Inglewood, Calif. (the Forum)
Sept. 21: Berkeley, Calif. (Greek Theatre)
Sept. 24: Anchorage, Ala. (William A. Egan Civic Center)
Sept. 26-27: Seattle (Paramount Ballroom)
