Suddenly, the cable channel remembered what the "M" stood for
MTV Brings Back Unplugged
Billboard.com reports that MTV has announced plans to reinstate its popular Unplugged series this summer, with the premiere episode on June 22 featuring a rare acoustic performance by Bon Jovi. Other artists planned for future episodes are The Police, Kenny Chesney, Mary J. Blige and John Mayer. No further details are available yet, but Billboard alleges that the Police acoustic set may happen sometime while the band stops in Miami during July.—The ARTISTdirect Staff
