Poison Return with Covers Album, Live Webcast

Wake up and smell the hairspray: On June 5, hair metal rockers Poison return with Poison'd!, the band's first new studio album since 2002's Hollyweird. A collection of 13 covers of the band's favorite rock anthems, Poison'd! features new versions of David Bowie's "Suffragette City," The Cars' "Just What I Needed" and The Rolling Stones' "Dead Flowers" among others. The band even revisits some of their favorite covers of yore, including Kiss' "Rock and Roll All Nite" and Loggins and Messina's "Your Mama Don't Dance."

To promote the album's release, Poison will host a live webcast performance and Q&A session on the band's official site, www.poisonweb.com, broadcast from Capitol Studios' legendary Studio A at 12pm PST / 3pm EST on Tuesday, June 5. The band's full original lineup—singer Bret Michaels, guitarist C.C. DeVille, drummer Rikki Rockett and bassist Bobby Dall—will answer questions from fans around the world. Adult film star Kirsten Price will emcee the webcast event.

Poison will also make an appearance on CBS's Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on June 7 before embarking on a 50-plus U.S. tour, co-headlining with fellow classic headbangers Ratt. White Lion will support.

And as if all that weren't enough Poison for you, lead singer Bret Michaels will also be starring in his own reality TV series, Rock of Love with Bret Michaels, premiering July 15 on VH1.
