Silverchair hasn't toured the U.S. since 1999. so it's with great anticipation, believe it or not, that the Australian modern rock trio returns this summer for a U.S. tour. In support of their July 24 comeback record Young Modern, Silverchair will begin their tour in San Diego, CA on July 13 with the final date in Minneapolis, MN on August 5. The band will also perform on the main stage of Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL on August 4. "Straight Lines," the premiere single off their first record since 2002's Diorama, has spent four weeks at #1 on the charts in Australia.
