Bon Jovi to Play Ten Shows at New Venue in New Jersey
The New York metropolitan area will welcome its first new sports and entertainment venue in 25 years this fall, when the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey opens its doors with a landmark ten-show homestand by Jersey-based rockers Bon Jovi. Tickets to the November 3, 4, 7, 9 and 10 shows are currently available only to American Express cardholders as part of a special presale that includes a downloadable copy of Bon Jovi's new album, Lost Highway. Tickets to the other five shows—October 25, 26, 28 and 30 and November 1—also include the special Lost Highway promotion and are available to the general public. Beginning Saturday, June 23 at 10am, tickets for all ten shows will be available without Lost Highway."We are going to light up the Prudential Arena with a blaze of glory," said Newark Mayor Cory Booker. "The oldest and greatest city in New Jersey will open the newest and greatest arena in the nation, energized by the talent of Bon Jovi, the vision of our partners in this project, and the power of Newark's residents."
