Jarvis Cocker Kicks Off Reading Feature on Indie Music Site

The music website Daytrotter has launched a new column called Bookery in which a musician will read their favorite chapter from a book or short story. Jarvis Cocker kicked the new segment off with an except from an Icelandic folk tale called Bukolla and the Boy, a parable involving a boy and a cow with magical hairs on its tail.

Cocker released his first solo album Jarvis earlier this year on the Rough Trade label.
