The Verve have announced that original members Richard Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Pete Salisbury and Simon Jones have regrouped for the first time since they disbanded nearly ten years ago. The band issued a statement saying that they're "getting back together for the joy of the music." In the meantime, the Verve unveiled six shows taking place in the UK from November 2-9, in which they'll debut some new material they're working on for a potential follow-up to 1997's Urban Hymns.
These are the dates:
November 2, 3 - Glasgow Academy
November 5, 6 - Blackpool Empress Ballroom
November 8, 9 - London Roundhouse
