After a year of inactivity, Rivers Cuomo is ready to rock
Weezer Confirms Work on a Sixth Album
After speculation began circulating around the Internet, frontman Rivers Cuomo confirmed Weezer's recent activity. The pop-rock band is in fact recording a sixth album, the followup to 2005's Make Believe, and anticipates an early 2008 release.Cuomo wrote on the band's official website that the group is "just polishing up a batch of songs for a recording session that is going to start at the beginning of July. This will be the final recording session for our sixth album... We hope you are all having good times." Good times, indeed.
