Regarding our earlier reports...? Psych!
LiveEarth Rio Not Cancelled After All
A judge has reversed her decision to cancel Saturday's LiveEarth performance in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, having been assured that there will be enough police presence to ensure crowd safety. "The show is on again. The prosecutor's office asked the judge to reconsider and she revoked the suspension," said the Rio Justice Tribunal's spokeswoman. We're just relieved to hear that Brazil will in fact get their share of Lenny Kravitz. The only free Live Earth concert (the rest require ticket purchases) had scheduled performances by Kravitz, Macy Gray and Pharrell Williams. A projected crowd of 700,000 is expected to attend.
