The only thing more annoying than Paris Hilton? A rousing chorus of "On Top of Old Smokey"

Barenaked Ladies, Submarines Do Campfire Songs for "Simple Life"

Just in time for your summer camp needs, E! Entertainment Television and Nettwerk Music Group are teaming up to deliver Simple Life Camp Songs, a collection of classic campfire tunes revamped by artists like Barenaked Ladies, Leigh Nash and The Submarines. The new compilation, which will initially see a digital-only release, is based on the latest season of The Simple Life, in which everyone's favorite rich airheads, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, serve as summer camp counselors. Will the girls survive the treacherous southern California wilderness? We assume so, but if you want to make sure, tune into E! Sunday nights at 10:00pm ET/PT.

All proceeds from the album go to the Children's Miracle network, an alliance that treats 17 million children every year. So bust out the iTunes and the bug repellant and check out the track list for Simple Life Camp Songs:

    Barenaked Ladies – "I Saw a Bear"
Leigh Nash (Sixpence None the Richer) – "Hole in the Bucket"
    Kinky – "My Bonnie"
    The Submarines – "Clementine"
    MC Lars – "Gopher Guts"
    Anthallo – "John Jacob"
Lissie – "You Are My Sunshine"
    Lissie – "Let It Shine"
Gill Landry – "On Top of Old Smokey"
Pinker Tones – "When the Saints"
