    Fire Engines Catalogue Gets Reissued

Little-known Scottish post-punk band Fire Engines (contemporaries of JosefK, Orange Juice and Franz Ferdinand's main influence) are getting a second chance at notoriety. The Glasgow band, whose blitzkrieg 18 month career consisted of 3 singles and a mini-LP, is having their entire catalogue reissued by Acute Records.

The compilation entitled Hungry Beat will feature all of the band's 12 tracks they released as a band in the '80s, as well as alternate versions of tracks. In conjunction with the new re-issue, it's no surprise that the band has announced their reunion. They are set to play dates in the US and the UK later this year.
