Former member of the Terror Squad gets involved in terror

Reminisce Smith, also known as rapper Remy Ma of the Fat Joe-led hip-hop group Terror Squad, pled not guilty to attempted murder charges after a shooting that took place in Manhattan's Meatpacking District on Saturday. According to Billboard.com, police found Makeda Barnes-Joseph with a gunshot wound to her torso and an abandoned SUV belonging to Smith just blocks away from the incident. After a warrant was issued for her arrest, Smith turned herself in and was charged with attempted murder, weapon possession and assault. The rapper was then released on a $250,000 bail and filed her plea. Barnes-Joseph remains hospitalized, but in stable condition.

In the wake of the shooting, another man has come forward and claimed that Remy Ma threatened him with a gun during a 2003 argument. Maintenance worker Alvin Lewis told the New York Post that the rapper pointed a gun at his head and pulled the trigger, but that the gun was not loaded.
