David Banner Returns with New Album
He will not turn into the Incredible Hulk (that's Bruce!) but rap's newest star, David Banner, will release a new album this fall titled Greatest Story Ever Told. The Mississippi rapper is completing his fifth album, the follow-up to 2005's Certified, for the SRC/Universal Motown label. The first single from the album will be "Speakers," which features cameos by Akon, Lil' Wayne and Snoop Dogg.Banner will also tour throughout the summer to promote the upcoming record as part of the Rock the Bells Festival series. The touring, outdoor concert—featuring a reunited Rage Against the Machine and Wu Tang Clan—begins in Mansfield, MA on July 26 and ends on September 1 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
