Publishers Bid on Keith Richards Memoir
Drugs, drugs, some alcohol, drugs, and then some guitar playing. While just about anyone can write Keith Richards' biography, various publishing houses are already waging a serious bidding war over the Rolling Stones guitarist's memoir, with offers on the table for as much as $7.3 million. NME.com reports that the bidding has been narrowed down to HarperCollins and Little, Brown.Richards will not, presumably, be including stories about snorting his father's ashes.
