British trio Placebo is releasing a retrospective EP titled Extended Play '07 to familiarize the American audience with their hits. While the band is enormously popular in their UK home and all throughout Europe, the glam-goth band hasn't "cracked" the states, despite a featured slot at this year's Coachella.
Nevertheless, Placebo comes to North America touring on the Projekt Revolution bill alongside Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and Taking Back Sunday. The angst-fueled line-up begins touring in Chula Vista, CA on July 31 and ends on September 3 in Greenwood Village, CO.
