The Black Crowes Return With New Record
It probably takes some heartache to inspire singer Chris Robinson to write a new record these days. The Black Crowes have unveiled today that they have just completed the recording of their newest album, the first release of original material since 2001's Lions and Robinson's public separation from actress Kate Hudson. The as-of-yet untitled album will be mixed this September for a Spring 2008 release. Additionally, the Crowes revealed that the album will feature sixteen new songs that will end up on the forthcoming album, none of which have been performed live.
