The classic rock band needs time to recoup from Europe
Scorsese's Rolling Stone Film Delayed
Billboard.com reports that noted director Martin Scorsese is pushing the release date back for his Rolling Stones concert documentary Shine A Light. The film was originally slated for a September 21 debut but now a spokesperson for Viacom Inc. says that it's been postponed for seven more months, and won't be released until mid-2008.The reason for the delays cites that the band is currently on tour in Europe which would make it difficult for them to promote the film. We're suspicious though; we see that the Stones finish up their tour at the end of August. Why the seven month gap? Perhaps Keith needs time to write that memoir.
