Its time to dust of your protractor and engineering skills—or perhaps just that homemade ganja smoking device you already constructed in a time of need—because

The Streets are holding a bong-making competition. The lucky UK fan with the best bong design will not only receive a pair of VIP passes to see the Streets at Get Loaded in the Park and a signed cymbal, but will also have the chance to demonstrate the genius of their creation on stage in a smoke session with Mike Skinner during his closing song "The Irony of It All" from his debut album, Original Pirate Material.

Aspiring designers should e-mail a description of their homemade, uh, device along with a drawing or photo to loadedbong@hotmail.com. Entries are due on August 22 and the winner will be announced on Skinner's blog the next day—we suggest you write this date down before entering the "testing phase" with your invention.
