Dave Gahan Reveales New Album Details
Dave Gahan, the frontman for Depeche Mode, revealed a few weeks back that he would be releasing a sophomore solo effort titled Hourglass. Today, the singer made public the tracklisting for the follow-up to 2003's Paper Monsters. "I feel this record has been an amazing opportunity to push the artist in me," Gahan said.He also admitted in a press release that the album focuses on the theme of mortality and time. "I don't know if it's about age, just getting older... there's no longer the luxury of being able to get blind drunk every night and just hide behind that. My fear is that I've wasted so much time in fear, in fear of diving in. I feel like I'm racing against the clock."
Hourglass is out on October 23 via Mute Records.
This is the tracklisting:
Saw Something'
'Kingdom'
'Deeper And Deeper'
'21 Days'
'Miracles'
'Use You'
'Insoluble'
'Endless'
'A Little Lie'
'Down'
