Dashboard Confessional Returns With New Record

Chris Carrabba, the songwriter also known as Dashboard Confessional, returns this fall to his acoustic roots with The Shade of Poison Trees. His fifth album, the follow-up to 2006's Dusk and Summer, will be out on October 2 via the independent label Vagrant Records.

The album was recorded in Florida over a span of ten days and promises to be his most personal album yet. In addition, Carrabba will also tour this fall without a backing band, his first time performing solo in five years.
