Silverchair give us the highlights of their day in Chi-town
Lollapalooza Tour Blog: Silverchair
Veteran Aussie rockers Silverchair are back in the U.S. with their latest album, Young Modern, and have been touring in support of it across the U.S. extensively this summer. That tour also included a stop at this year's Lollapalooza festival.Since we couldn't be there, the boys have kindly recounted the highlights of their day playing the fest, so we could get a glimpse of the action. Check out their Lolla blog below:

It all started without a shower. After some lame attempts to wash at the festival site by Chris with a water bottle, we then got the news that someone took pity on our situation and gave us their suite at the Hilton. From the shithouse to the penthouse in 5 minutes.
We are not sure whether Muse is aware of this, but we took comfort in their luscious Harley Davidson-themed dressing room whilst our more modest version was being prepared for our arrival.
With so many men crowded into the band room, our keyboardist Paul Mac quipped, "it's the personal space I like the most about being on tour."
After breakfast, at about 1 o'clock in the afternoon, we prepared for the show. By consuming the equivalent of 4 cups of coffee each—in one convenient can—and the assistance of James Brown and Jay-Z, we made our way to the stage. We had a really good show, possibly the best of the tour. We really appreciated everyone that came to check us out at the festival.
We did some press in the afternoon, checked out a couple of bands, and thought that Yeah Yeah Yeahs were a highlight. We later made for our tour bus and headed for our next destination, with the traditional truck stop for the crew to get their bedtime "BACONATER."
We are really looking forward to coming back to the states for some more shows and everything in between.
