Billboard.com reports that Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello will team up for a fall tour, therein actualizing the baby boomer generation's dream tour. The two rock icons will perform 13 shows together beginning on September 22 in Duluth, GA with a final date in October 9 in Rochester, NY.

In other Dylan-related news, his three-disc compilation is due out on October 1 via Columbia Records. Another Dylan-inspired release, the soundtrack to the upcoming film called I'm Not There, will be released on October 30, featuring covers by the likes of Karen O, Sufjan Stevens, Stephen Malkmus, Mark Lanegan and Eddie Vedder.
