Babyshambles Finds American Label
Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles has finally found a patient, hopefully tolerant, North American label. Astralwerks Records, home of Hot Chip and The Kooks, is the next, um, lucky winner, who will be the home for the troubled band's sophomore release.Shotter's Nation will see an October 23 release with a special final track featuring legendary folk musician Bert Jansch. In other Doherty related news, as we reported yesterday, Pete was arrested on Monday but then released on Tuesday. Sounds like a typical week, eh?
This is the tracklisting:
"Carry On Up The Morning"
"Delivery"
"You Talk"
"UnBilo Titled"
"Side Of The Road"
"Crumb Begging"
"UnStookie Titled"
"French Dog Blues"
"There She Goes"
"Baddies Boogie"
"Deft Left Hand"
"The Lost Art of Murder" (featuring Bert Jansch)
