Eddie Vedder To Perform Solo Songs At War Doc Premiere
Pearl Jam's frontman, Eddie Vedder, has made it no secret that he's a political activist, so it comes as no surprise that the singer has been inspired by a political documentary.Body of War is an upcoming film, which focuses on Tomas Young, a paralyzed soldier injured after his first week of duty in Iraq. Vedder wrote two original songs for the film titled "No More" and "Long Nights," the former of which Pearl Jam is currently playing on tour.
According to Billboard.com, Vedder has announced that he will perform the songs before the premiere screening of the documentary at the Toronto International Film Festival.
