Coachella seems to be plotting another shoegazer's delight for next year's fest
My Bloody Valentine To Reunite?
Industry news-scoop blog, The Daily Swarm, is speculating that a My Bloody Valentine reunion is currently under way, just in time for a possible 2008 Coachella reunion debut. While all the parties involved will not comment one way or the other, MBV mastermind Kevin Shields has been vocal and adamant about the band's inevitable return. "We are 100% going to make another My Bloody Valentine record unless we die or something," he told Magnet magazine earlier this year.The Swarm also points out that the band has registered for a new band domain mybloodyvalentine.co.uk as well as a new MySpace page. When the news site contacted Coachella organizer and promoter Paul Tollett about the appearance, he answered via email, "I don't comment on booking because it would make my job difficult responding to every rumor."
