Sean Kingston To Portray Notorious B.I.G.

After months of speculation about who would garner the role, hip-hop newcomer Sean Kingston was chosen to portray the deceased rapper Notorious B.I.G. in the upcoming biopic. Sean "Diddy" Combs is producing the film titled "Notorious", while Biggie's mother Voletta Wallace was involved in the casting selection.

"When I first heard about that movie, it was through management," Kingston said in a press release. "My management told me about it and, you know, I had auditioned for it and I met with the director and I nailed it and he gave me a shot now at being in the movie."

But does Kingston have the acting chops for the role? "I went to acting school when I was younger," he added. "I want to get into every aspect of the business and see where it takes me. I'm grateful for the fact that my music is able to bridge genres... it's always been important to for me not to limit myself."
