Counting Crows Re-release Debut
The chart-topping '90s rockers Counting Crows have announced that they will be re-releasing their 1993 debut August and Everything After, which features their breakout hit "Mr. Jones." The album will be available in a deluxe edition, which will include previously unreleased demos and a DVD of the band's August 1994 show at Elysee Montmarte in Paris.Counting Crows have also decided to commemorate the album by performing the album in its entirety at Town Hall in New York City the same day the album is released. Tickets for the show will be available September 7 at 10AM (local time).
The band's re-release is no mere rehashing of nostalgia. The band is primed to release their latest album, Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings on November 6. The album is a follow-up to 2002's Hard Candy.
