Photo Recap: Music Fest Northwest 2007

Portland. It's not Seattle—but don't let anyone from Portland hear you say that. Playing second fiddle to its world-renowned, grungier sister city, Portland has always had a sonic chip on its shoulder. So, to maximize the credit that Portland is due (and it's quite a lot these days), Music Fest Northwest was created to bring in national indie and hip-hop headlining acts to play alongside the city's own artsy, emerging locals.

This year proved to be one of the best with a lineup ranging from Ghostface Killah to Cat Power to Spoon. ARTISTdirect took a trip to Oregon's pride and joy to give you a glimpse of the sights and sounds we devoured at MFNW. Check out our review in pictures.
