Eminem Begins Recording New Album
Eminem, aka Marshall Mathers, aka Slim Shady, phoned in to New York City's Hot 97 radio station this morning to reveal that he has begun the recording process of what will be his first record in three years. According to Billboard.com, Eminem told the station, "For a while, I didn't want to go back to the studio...I went through some personal things. I'm coming out of those personal things [and] it feels good."While working on his own songs in Detroit, Eminem is also hard at work developing new artists on his label, Shady Records. Eminem's new album (which has no release date yet) will be the follow-up to 2004's Encore.
