Lenny Kravitz Preps New Album
Lenny Kravitz is putting the finishing touches on his eighth studio album, It's Time For a Love Revolution, which he looks to release sometime in Febuary 2008 via Virgin Records. It's been three years since his last studio album, Baptism, and Kravitz is said to have stripped down his sound on this new release. Telling Billboard.com, "On this one, I was really into using more of the room mics and getting a lot of spill. I wanted to hear the walls and the room."Full details on a tour in support of the album are still in the works, but fans can expect to get up close and personal with the handsome rocker this time around. Planning a series of surprise gigs and club dates, Kravitz says he wants to, "Get out there and get close to the people and have fun."
