Sex Pistols Re-record For Video Game
The Sex Pistols have reunited to re-record a version of their classic punk anthem "Anarchy in the U.K." for the video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. This landmark occasion was the first time that surviving members John Lydon, Steve Jones and Paul Cook performed together in a studio in over thirty years. "I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but it actually turned out great and I think everyone held their own," guitarist Jones said. "I like it [Guitar Hero] because my friends' kids like it. And I like what kids like."As we reported earlier, the band will also reunite for a one-off gig on November 8 at London's Brixton Academy. The show will be sponsored byyou guessed itGuitar Hero III.
