Dashboard Confessional Tours New Album

It's a tender-hearted, emo world out there and Chris Carrabba might be the man most responsible for this current glut of sensitivity. Under his Dashboard Confession moniker, he taught an entire generation that it's alright to cry for being well-to-do and slightly misunderstood. Now the popular singer-songwriter is set to release his fifth album, The Shade of Poison Trees, which he describes as a return to his "signature acoustic sound."

In support of this album, he plans to to hit the road for his first set of solo performances in five years. Accompanying him will be John Ralston and Augustana. We're starting to well up already.
