Yo La Tengo Unveils Casual Tour
Thu, 11 Oct 2007 08:14:01
Yo La Tengo have just embarked on their self-proclaimed "Freewheeling" tour. This tour supporting last year's I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass has no definitive structure and promises to be as unstructured as possible.
On the band's website they describe the Freewheeling tour as, "A little bit 'Storytellers', a little bit 'Unplugged', with a soupcon of their famously varied Hanukkah shows, it will feature the band playing an almost-acoustic set of songs from their entire catalog, with stories about their life as a band, and an encouraged back-and-forth with the audience." Sounds great, but what does "soupcon" mean?
